Scattered storms today; more widespread storms possible tomorrow
Paul Dorian
A frontal system continues to meander back and forth across New Jersey and this will again bring about some more scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Tomorrow, however, will bring about the chance for more widespread showers and thunderstorms as another front closes in from the Great Lakes. Some of the rain on Friday will be heavy and many areas that have been nearly rain-free recently may pick up quite a bit of rain in a hurry. All fronts should move off the east coast by the weekend and this will bring a reduction in overall humidity levels and rain chances. Today- mostly sunny, hot and humid with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms, near 90
Tonight- partly cloudy, muggy, chance for a shower or thunderstorm, lows near 70
Fri- mostly cloudy, very humid, not as hot, more widespread showers and thunderstorms likely with some of this rain heavy at times, upper 70’s
Sat- becoming partly sunny, warm, mid 80’s
Sun- mainly sunny, very warm, near 90
Mon- mainly sunny, very warm, near 90
Tues- partly sunny, hot and humid with a chance for a thunderstorm, near 90
