A refreshing change is coming, but one more shower or storm is possible beforehand
Paul Dorian
8:30 AM A refreshing change to cooler and less humid air will take place over the next 12-24 hours, but there is one more disturbance that has to come through before the real noticeable effects will be felt. A shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out as this upper level energy slides through later today, but then temperatures and humidity levels will drop overnight and Thursday and Friday promise to be nice days for mid-July. In fact, the Canadian high pressure system that takes control of our weather may provide us with sunshine right into the early part of next week. Today- a mix of clouds and sun with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm, not quite as hot as yesterday when it reached 93 degrees at Central Park, highs in the upper 80’s
Tonight- partly cloudy then turning cooler late, lows near 65 by morning
Thurs- mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s
Fri- mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s
Sat- mostly sunny, still pretty pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s
Sun- mostly sunny, warm, mid 80’s
Mon- partly sunny, warm, upper 80’s
