Discussion
It has reached or surpassed 90 degrees for 9 straight days at Reagan National Airport and today will be a close call. Lots of sunshine and low humidity will make today a rather pleasant day, but then the heat and humidity return for Thursday, Friday and the upcoming weekend. Temperatures tomorrow should reach 90 and then will make another run at the upper 90’s or even 100 degrees on Friday during the peak of the next heat wave. Low 90’s are likely for highs on both weekend days and there should be plenty of sunshine with rather high humidity levels and a daily threat for a thunderstorm.
