Discussion
A nice weekend is in store for the region; however, there may be some strong thunderstorm activity to endure before we get there. A cool front is already causing numerous showers and thunderstorms across western New York and that line will head our way for the late afternoon and evening hours. Some of the storms that develop here late today and early tonight will contain heavy rain and strong, gusty winds. Less humid air will follow for the weekend and, despite temperatures approaching 90 degrees each day, it’ll be quite nice for late July. Similar weather starts the new work week with lots of sunshine and highs each day near 90.
