A cold front will approach the area today and this will enhance our chances for showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms can be strong with brief, heavy rains and gusty winds. The frontal system gradually passes to our east tomorrow and high pressure will take over and provide plenty of sunshine for Thursday and Friday.
