Discussion

The Saturday historic coastal storm that caused more than 2 million people to lose power and unprecedented October snowfall in many locations is now long gone and it was followed by the first hard freeze of the season. There will, however, be a general warming trend this week and we should be close to 60 degrees by Wednesday for afternoon highs (normal high is 62). In fact, it looks to me like after the relatively cool start to November this week, the 2nd week of November looks quite a bit warmer-than-normal. As far as the weekend storm is concerned, here is a smattering of county-by-county snow reports reported to the NWS for SE PA:
