Discussion
High pressure continues to provide us with mostly clear skies and temperatures will rebound today to within a few degrees of 60 after another chilly start. A weak front will pass through tonight and this will usher in slightly cooler air for Friday and Saturday. The weekend will be dry and cool as high pressure builds into the region behind the front and it will definitely allow for yard work such as the cutting of the grass which couldn’t be done last weekend due to the snow. One more note about the weekend…it is that time again to turn back the clocks. The high will then slip off the east coast by early next week and from that off shore position, it will pump in milder air for the beginning of next week. In fact, highs should reach well into the 60’s on both Monday and Tuesday afternoons. The next chance for significant rain won’t come until the latter part of next week.
