Discussion
A weak cold front will pass through tonight and, while it will be on the dry side, it will usher in a reinforcing chilly air mass and temperatures on Saturday may not get out of the 40’s. The next frontal system to approach the Mid-Atlantic will be more significant as it could have a couple of low pressure systems riding along it and this will enhance rainfall chances by Tuesday. Colder air will follow that frontal passage by the middle of next week and there is a chance that the rain can change over to snow before ending in parts of the interior Mid-Atlantic. As far as November is concerned, the month turned out to be warm and wet at Philly Airport with temperatures averaging 3.7 degrees above normal and total rainfall was measured at 3.87 inches which was 0.88 inches above the normal monthly amount.
