Discussion
A cold front will approach the region later today and it will increase our chance for showers; especially, during the afternoon hours. The front moves off the east coast by early Friday and colder air will return to the Mid-Atlantic region on brisk NW winds to close out the week. High pressure should control our weekend weather as it forces a low pressure system to slide by to our south during the early part of the weekend. Another frontal system will approach our region late Monday into Tuesday increasing our odds for more showers by Tuesday.
