Discussion
A cold front will slide through the region late tonight and will stall just to our south on Tuesday. The front will then return northward as a warm front early Wednesday as a strong low pressure system rides up to our west from the southern Plains to the Great Lakes. Wednesday will be a wet day with periods of rain and winds could get quite gusty as another cold front whips through the region. Colder, drier air returns on Thursday behind the storm as it pulls away to our northeast. Looking ahead, another storm could produce more rain around here on Friday and then yet another storm could threaten us with rain or snow on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
