Discussion
Another rain event is headed our way for later tonight and early tomorrow and it will be quite a soaker. A storm pulls out of the Lower Mississippi Valley today and heads toward the Northeast bringing with it copious amounts of moisture. It’ll be cold enough in upstate NY for snow to fall from this storm, but it looks like all rain here in the NYC metro region. Colder air follows this system for the Christmas weekend and it looks like it’ll stay dry and chilly both weekend days. One final note - winter officially began on a balmy note overnight (12:30 AM) with temperatures generally in the 50's at that time.
