Discussion
Our latest soaking rain event is now over (DCA 0.82", BWI 1.05", IAD 1.32") and the vacating storm will usher in noticeably colder air for the weekend. Temperatures the past couple of days have been way above normal at 60 or above, but should be much closer to normal for the next few days (normal high is now 45 degrees). Conditions should stay relatively dry this weekend as high pressure builds in from the nation’s mid-section, but a snow shower or two can occur late Saturday or Sunday.
