Discussion
High pressure will move off the east coast by tomorrow and yet another significant rain event is headed our way for later Tuesday through Tuesday night. This next rain event has all the makings for another inch or more of rainfall which would add on to our already nearly record-breaking amounts for the year. Clearing will take place on Wednesday and it’ll be quite windy and cool as well. Longer term, all indications are for colder and colder air masses to head to the eastern US early in the New Year as the overall polar pattern undergoes a change that will allow for significant temperature pattern changes here.
