Discussion

The Arctic air will not feel quite as harsh this afternoon as the winds will be noticeably weaker than yesterday, but highs will once again have trouble reaching 30 degrees and it'll be a brutally cold beginning to the day. A weak front will cross the region tonight and that could produce snow showers later tonight into early Thursday. This Arctic air mass will then quickly retreat as we close out the week and highs on Saturday should return to near 50 degrees. Another cold front, however, will pass through the region by Sunday and a wave of low pressure may form along the front giving us a chance for rain on Sunday. It turns slightly colder again on Monday behind that frontal system.
