Discussion
High pressure has returned to the Mid-Atlantic region and will control our weather through tomorrow. A cold front will pass through the region tomorrow night and then it’ll turn slightly cooler on Wednesday. A fast-moving system may spread some snow or rain here on Wednesday behind the cold frontal passage before more high pressure moves in for the late week time period. An interesting setup is developing for the weekend time frame that will bear watching. In a rarity for this winter, there will be abundant Gulf of Mexico moisture that will try to ride up the east coast, but it is too early to tell if that will cause a storm along the coast or far enough off the coast to not affect us here in the Mid-Atlantic.
