Discussion
Weak low pressure threw some clouds our way yesterday along with a bit of precipitation. High pressure will temporarily protect us today here in the Mid-Atlantic providing for a return to partial sunshine by this afternoon. Another low pressure system, however, will affect us tomorrow as it heads towards the Ohio Valley while a secondary low tries to form off the Mid-Atlantic coast. Some rain is likely tomorrow from the combination of these two low pressure areas, but they will clear out of here to end the week and begin the weekend. Another storm is then likely to form in this active pattern in the southeast US by Sunday morning and, while it is too early to determine exactly how far north up the east coast it could move, this scenario bears watching as there will likely be quite a bit of moisture available with some cold air not too far to our north.
