Discussion
Mild conditions will continue today with temperatures once again rising right through the 50’s. Showers are likely later tonight and part of tomorrow as a strong cold front approaches the region and there could even be a rumble of thunder. This frontal passage will usher in much colder air for Friday night and Saturday and winds will gust past 40 mph as a storm intensifies rapidly to our north. Winds will relax on Sunday and then the chill will ease early next week. Another storm will threaten the Mid-Atlantic region by the middle of next week.
