Discussion
Mild conditions will continue today with temperatures rising to the upper 60’s. Showers are likely tonight and tomorrow as a strong cold front approaches the region, but, all in all, it won't be a heavy rain event. This frontal passage will usher in much colder air for Friday night and Saturday and winds will gust past 40 mph as a storm along the front intensifies rapidly to our north. Winds will relax on Sunday and then milder air moves in early next week. Another storm will threaten the Mid-Atlantic region by the middle of next week.
