Discussion

It reached 70 degrees yesterday along the I-95 corridor from DC to Philly to NYC, but a cold front passed through the region overnight and we’ll return to much closer to normal temperatures for a couple of days. Temperatures today will hold in the mid-to-upper 50’s for highs, and it’ll turn even colder for tonight and tomorrow with highs on Saturday struggling to reach 50 degrees. However, as has been the case just about all winter, this cold snap will be brief and a significant warm up will begin on Sunday. In fact, it appears as if this warm up will last for the next couple of weeks for a large part of the country including right here in the Mid-Atlantic.
