Discussion
Morning "self-destructive" sunshine will boost temperatures in the lower part of the atmosphere and that combined with quite cold temperatures aloft will cause some destabilization. As a result, the morning sunshine will give way to afternoon clouds and a few scattered showers will likely pop up around the area. The coastal storm that has controlled our weather over the past couple of days has drifted northwestward to Ontario, Canada, and it will slowly weaken in that general vicinity over the next 24 hours or so. High pressure will build into the region on Wednesday, but then another front will threaten us with showers on Thursday, and yet another front will set up shop nearby this weekend and that could lead to more rain later Saturday into Sunday.
