Discussion
Warmer air tried to advance into the region yesterday, but it had a difficult time dislodging the entrenched cool air already in place. A weak cool front then passed through the area last night and an ocean flow of air has developed behind that front which will hold down our temperatures for today and tomorrow. By Friday, that front will lift back to the north of us and temperatures will be off to the races in what will likely turn out to be the warmest day of the week. Temperatures could reach 80 degrees on Friday and, while still warm on Saturday, they will begin a downward trend that will continue into early next week.
