Discussion

A backdoor cold front reversed our temperatures yesterday from the 60’s on Tuesday to the 50’s thanks to a persistent ocean flow of air that developed in the wake of the frontal passage. It won’t be quite as cool today and an even bigger change will take place on Friday as the backdoor cold front lifts back to the northeast of us as a warm front. As a consequence, our temperatures on Friday will climb well up into the 70’s, but there will also be a shower and thunderstorm threat. A downward trend in temperatures will begin on Saturday and continue into early next week.
