Discussion
An unsettled pattern is shaping up for the first half of the week as an approaching cold front will increase our chances for showers on Tuesday and then that front will stall along the east coast during the mid-week time frame. A storm is likely to form along the front and this will enhance our chances for soaking rain late Wednesday into Thursday. The best chance for sunshine here in the Mid-Atlantic won’t come until late in the week and weekend when high pressure builds back into the region following the passage of the mid-week storm.
