Discussion
Unsettled weather will continue through tomorrow night as a slow-moving cold front and a coastal storm will affect the Mid-Atlantic weather scene over the next 36 hours. As the cold front which is currently located in the Ohio Valley approaches the Mid-Atlantic region later today, our chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase. Then, as this front reaches the east coast on Wednesday, it'll stall out and a storm will ride up along the boundary zone maintaining the threat for showers and thunderstorms here right through tomorrow night. Once that coastal storm lifts off to the northeast of us later Thursday, high pressure will build back into the region and our weather will improve dramatically for the end of the week and the upcoming weekend.
