Low pressure has now passed us by to our northeast and the weather will improve today as high pressure builds back into the region. The incoming air mass is quite cool, however, and temperatures during the next couple of nights will likely drop to the chilly 40’s in the N and W suburban locations. Sunshine should dominate the weather scene on Friday and Saturday, but clouds will increase on Sunday and showers are possible again by late Sunday and Monday.
