Discussion

The normal high temperature for Philly is now around 81 degrees and we should be at or below that for much of the week after a well-above normal day closed out the weekend. High pressure to our northeast will be a big player for the week as will a cold front pressing in from our west by the mid-week time period. That front will give us a threat for some heavy showers and thunderstorms late tomorrow and tomorrow night, but humidity should then begin to lower later Wednesday behind the front. Dry weather is likely on Thursday and Friday post-frontal system with temperatures slightly below normal.
