Discussion
A boundary zone continues to remain stalled out to our south, but it’ll start moving to the north as a warm front by the weekend. As a result, more humidity will be quite noticeable around here this weekend, and there will be an increased threat for showers and thunderstorms although much of the time will be rain-free. Upper level winds are so slow, however, that any storm that does form can contain heavy rainfall as they would be slow-movers given the lack of steering winds. A weak cold front will approach the region on Monday and this will continue the threat for a few showers and thunderstorms early next week.
