Look out…dangerous storms closing in on the entire New York City metro region. These storms will contain very heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts, frequent lightning and possible hail and will hit over the next hour or so. This air mass is extremely moist and a lot rain can fall in a brief time causing some localized flooding conditions. Hot weather is in store for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but relief comes for the 2nd half of the week.
