Discussion

The main player in the world of weather around here continues to be the monsoonal flow of moisture from Arizona and New Mexico into the Rockies region. Upper level high pressure continues to sit to our east and from this position it will allow subtropical moisture to advect into this area. The best chance for any shower or thunderstorm activity will be during the afternoon and evening hours both today and tomorrow when daytime heating combines with this moisture to destabilize the atmosphere.
