Discussion

The extreme heat is gone, but the humidity remains and some serious, beneficial rains are likely between tonight and early Saturday. Waves of low pressure will ride along a stalled out frontal system just to our south producing soaking rains around here and it'll turn cooler as an ocean flow of air develops. Gradual clearing should take place late on Saturday as high pressure takes control and less humid air moves into the region and Sunday promises to be quite nice and comfortable.
