Discussion
Wednesday may turn out to be the only day this week without the mention of a shower or thunderstorm as numerous frontal systems will keep the weather pattern quite active in the Mid-Atlantic. Heat and humidity return to the region today, but nothing extreme is expected and slightly cooler, less humid air is likely to arrive on Wednesday behind a cool frontal passage. High temperatures today and tomorrow will end up within a few degrees of 90 with a few showers and thunderstorms likely and any storm can contain some brief heavy rainfall. High pressure will build back into the area on Wednesday on the heels of the frontal passage, but humidity will make a quick return and it'll be quite active again during the latter half of the week with multiple shots at additional showers and thunderstorms.
