Discussion
Heat and humidity returned to the region yesterday and today will be pretty hot and humid, but it’ll turn slightly cooler and less humid on Wednesday following a cool frontal passage. That frontal passage can set off a few showers or thunderstorms later today; especially, for the western suburbs of the District. High pressure will control the weather on Wednesday, but heat and humidity will return for the latter part of the week and so will the threat for showers and thunderstorms.
