A cool front passed through the region last night and high pressure will provide relief from the recent heat and humidity – but only on a temporary basis. That front has stalled to our south and will lift north tomorrow as a warm front and, as a result, we’ll have a return on Thursday of the excessive heat and high humidity along with the threat for showers and thunderstorms.
