Discussion
The combination of monsoonal moisture and an upper level disturbance just to our north today will continue the threat for PM showers and thunderstorms as temperatures into the 90's. Similar unsettled conditions will occur on both weekend days as a couple of other disturbances move along in the upper atmospheric southwesterly flow of air, but the greatest chance for showers and thunderstorms is likely to be on Sunday. Temperatures will continue to average above normal for the next several days.
