Discussion
The good news for this week is that there appears to be no chance for any extreme heat, but the bad news is that it'll be somewhat unsettled with a daily shower and thunderstorm threat although most of the time will be rain-free. Any rain that does fall over the next 48 hours or so can indeed come down quite heavily for awhile as the showers and thunderstorms will very likely be rather slow-moving. A frontal system will meander close by for the next few days and this will allow for a couple of low pressure waves to ride along the boundary zone bringing us that daily threat of a shower or thunderstorm with the greatest chances on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will hold in the 80's for highs till mid-week and then approach or slightly surpass 90 degrees each day during the second half of the week.
