Discussion
Weak high pressure now controls our weather and generally very warm and humid conditions will prevail for the next few days as temperatures approach 90 degrees in the metro region. There is the threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms both today and tomorrow, but an even better threat may come later Sunday into Monday as a strong cool front approaches from the west. Once that front clears the east coast, nicer weather is likely to return for Tuesday and Wednesday.
