Discussion
We’ll be dealing with a couple of cold fronts this week and the first one will approach later today setting off occasional showers and thunderstorms and some of the rain may linger into Wednesday morning. Similar to last week, this frontal passage will be associated with strong upper-level support; consequently, some of the storms that develop later today can be quite strong. A second cold front will approach the area later Friday and this will bring us another chance for showers and storms to close out the work week. The overall weather pattern is undergoing a change here as the Plains, Midwest and East look to be cooler for the foreseeable time and highs this weekend could actually hold in the 70’s for parts of the Mid-Atlantic.
