Discussion
The cool front that generated some showers and storms in the Mid-Atlantic yesterday is still close enough this morning to threaten us with more showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms that form can be strong and slow-moving. Less humid air will move in tonight and Thursday promises to be a nice, comfortable day with plenty of sunshine. Another cool front will approach on Friday and this too will set off some shower and thunderstorm activity late in the day and at night. Cooler air will follow the frontal passage for the weekend and into early next week as an overall pattern change continues. High temperatures are likely to hold at or just below 80 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
