Discussion

High pressure has moved into the region and it will control our weather right into the upcoming holiday weekend. Temperatures were quite pleasant on Wednesday, but they will trend upward over the next couple of days and likely reach the low-to-mid 90's by tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, the remains of Isaac will begin to take a turn to the north towards Arkansas and Missouri over the next 24 hours before it then turns eastward and heads towards the east coast. It is possible that the remains of Isaac will interact with a frontal system and produce some rain around here in the Mid-Atlantic early next week.
