Discussion
A weak cool front crossed the region late yesterday and weak high pressure will now build into the Mid-Atlantic as the front stalls southeast of here. While chances for rain will be reduced for today and tomorrow and much of the time will be rain-free, a couple of showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out on either day. By the weekend, another front with an associated low pressure area will head our way from the Midwest and this will bring back a high chance for showers and thunderstorms late Saturday into Saturday night and some of the rain is likely to be heavy at times. Much cooler weather moves in on Sunday and Monday with highs confined to the 70's.
