Discussion
Strong upper-level high pressure dominates the weather scene across California and will continue to do so into tomorrow. As a result, extreme heat is likely to begin the week with 90’s possible near coastal sections and triple digits further inland. Today will likely turn out to be the hottest day in this heat wave as the offshore flow reverses by mid-week to onshore; however, temperatures will still remain above normal into mid-week.
