Discussion

A large area of moisture that had its origins over the tropical Pacific Ocean has made its way across the southern states and is now moving towards the Mid-Atlantic region. Today will be a pretty nice start to the week, but clouds will roll in tonight and the next two days will feature warmer and more humid conditions along with occasional showers and possible thunderstorms. It’ll stay pretty warm on Thursday and Friday as well, but overall humidity levels should drop some from those mid-week values. A strong cold front that will sweep across the nation this week is then likely to pass through our region by early in the weekend and that will begin a cooling trend with the return of below normal temperatures.
