Discussion
A strong upper level low pressure system will track across southern California during the mid-week time frame and this will raise the chances for showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday night and Thursday. With the cold air expected in the upper part of the atmosphere some of the thunderstorms that form could feature hail and brief heavy downpours on Wednesday night and Thursday. The threat for showers will diminish later this week and temperatures will begin a warming trend this weekend.
