Discussion
A cold front passed through the region late yesterday and chilly high pressure has moved in on its heels for today. Temperatures today will once again hold at well below normal levels struggling to reach the lower 60's for the afternoon highs despite all day sunshine. It'll still be below normal temperature-wise on Friday albeit a tad milder ahead of the next cold front which is likely to pass through late in the day on the dry side. Colder air then returns for Saturday behind that next front, but it’ll get milder on Sunday as a large high pressure system shifts to off the east coast and our winds change to a southwesterly direction. Baseball playoff games to be played later today in DC (4:07 PM) and in the Bronx (7:37 PM) involving the Cardinals, Nationals, O's, and Yankees will be played under dry and quite cool weather conditions for this time of year.
