Discussion
Nice weather for today here in the Mid-Atlantic region as high pressure continues to control our weather. That high will begin to lose control on Thursday, however, as a large storm heads towards the western Great Lakes region. From this location, the Great Lakes storm will advance a strong front into the region Thursday night and showers will swing back in from our southwest. It'll stay unstable on Friday with a few more showers possible and maybe a thunderstorm, but some sunshine is then likely for both weekend days.
