Discussion
The weather will continue to gradually improve in the Mid-Atlantic region following the departure of Sandy which continues to weaken and head to the north towards southern Canada. High pressure will gradually build into the region and we’ll actually have a pretty decent, albeit cool, stretch of weather right through the weekend. The next storm threat will not come until late Tuesday or Wednesday as it appears there may be something forming off the Mid-Atlantic coast at that time. It is too early to say, however, if it stays off the coast or if it will have an effect on the Mid-Atlantic region. There will be some cold air around in the Northeast US so it needs to be monitored.
