The week started off on the hot side, but will cool off dramatically by the upcoming weekend. High pressure will slowly give way to a cold and deep upper level trough of low pressure with lots of clouds and maybe even some shower activity later this week. Temperatures by the weekend will respond by holding at well below normal levels.
