Discussion
High pressure continues to sit over the Canadian Maritimes and it still has control over our weather in the Mid-Atlantic. Meanwhile, low pressure continues to spin off the east coast in the western Atlantic, but it will have trouble advancing inland over the next couple of days. By the middle of the week, the ocean low will begin to head out to the open Atlantic and high pressure will build into the Mid-Atlantic region from the Midwest. A strong cold front will swing on through the region Friday night and Saturday promises to be much colder following the frontal passage.
