Discussion

High pressure will continue to dominate the weather scene for much of the eastern half of the nation over the next couple of days with slightly below normal temperatures. By later Saturday, one low pressure will develop near the southeast coast of the US and another will be situated over the Great lakes region. Clouds will increase around here as a result and there could even be a few snow showers from late Saturday night into early Sunday that could leave a coating in many spots. Once those systems pull away, more high pressure will fill in and moderation in temperatures will take place by mid-week.
