Discussion
High pressure moves off the east coast today and that will promote a southwesterly flow of air which will push in milder air into the Mid-Atlantic for the next couple of days. A front will slip through the region by early Thursday which will cool us down slightly, but temperatures should still remain above normal on Thursday and Friday. Even milder air will push into the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend and last until the early part of next week before a strong cold front returns cold air to the region by the middle of next week. As far as precipitation is concerned, there is a good chance for showers on Thursday night and Friday and then another round is possible later this weekend.
